i sure know what you mean and it’s cathartic to read from someone else who understands. I’ve never know anyone in my whole life who does. The worst part is the gaslighting. Nobody will ever know. The reality of true suffering, hardship, and injustice is just not comprehensible or recognizable unless you’ve experienced it yourself. People look at some of the true victims of the world like the homeless, prisoners, severely handicapped, and have not the slightest idea what their looking at, no idea of the magnitude of the horror and tragedy that really does exist in the world around them. Most people just don’t know, but often think that they do, and will readily agree that the world is a “miserable” place without having any idea. The greatest irony is that those who have paid the highest price for survival are the ones who are the most invisible, the most unrecognized and misunderstood. And if you’re one of them, you spend your whole life forever walking through a world full of people who can’t begin to comprehend what your world is like but who think that they do.
