it's clear from the comments that for a lot of people, this scenario is all too real, so for them i have to point out a REALLY obvious red flag that nobody else seems to see: your wedding is an extremely important event, a milestone in your life. But it is NOT the culminating event that DEFINES your whole f$@#ing life from this day forward, and i, for one, can't imagine marrying a woman who would turn a celebratory event into such a grueling theater production with such nanoscopic obsession over every detail that she has COMPLETELY cut herself off from ANY emotional engagement with the whole spirit of the event days before it even begins.

That is F@!#ING PATHOLOGICAL and she has MAJOR mental health issues!
