looks like you have a lot of comments from programmers who are good at it but don’t understand why. It absolutely depends on your inherent personality and aptitude. For some it’s greatly rewarding and for others it will be the most punishing task you will ever undertake.
i’ve always said that when the nerves in your scalp have gone dead from pulling your hair out, then you’re a programmer. But that’s really only true for a minority of people like myself. Make no mistake though, it sure is true for some of us. The idea that anyone can program is preposterous.
