"Wouldn’t it be easier to keep things on schedule?"

this is astonishing. HELL NO it's not easier to keep things on schedule. He seriously thinks that EVERYONE lives at a level of comfort and luxury that they can afford to do everything on schedule? EVERYONE has enough control over their lives to be able to predict and plan everything ahead? EVERYONE has enough spare time and reliable transportation to be able to show up 15 minutes ahead of schedule?
