yeah but that's not the point. When he says "we don't live in a hierarchy of force, we live in a hierarchy of competence. To the extent that it's a hierarchy of force, that hierarchy is corrupt", he's not just flatly contradicting the universal reality of all life on earth, he's categorically endorsing the Rich Man's Fiction. It's not an observation about the world, it's a statement of the excuse he uses in his own mind to dismiss reality. That's what (certainly not all) rich people everywhere do to not only deny their advantage, but to justify their own support of the enforcement of that advantage.
